Leonard Edwards was born in Llangollen September 1922, the son of Thomas Owen Edwards, of Cefn Mawr and Elsie Ivy Edwards (nee Aubrey), formerly of 3, Green Lane, who had married at Glanrafon Chapel the previous quarter.
