Trevor Lloyd Williams was born in Vroncysyllte, September quarter 1921, the eldest son of Caradoc Williams, and Mary Williams (nee Jasper) of Vroncysyllte. It was a large family, he had 5 brothers and 3 sisters. As a child he attended Carmel Baptist Church and Sunday School. He was later employed at the Penybont works of J.C. Edwards, before joining the R.A.F. at the end of 1938. By 1941 he had reached the rank of Leading Aircraftsman, No. 633461. He had been in hospital since the end of April 1941, before he died on Wednesday 14th May 1941, the cause of death was not reported, but the R.A.F. announcement in "Flight" magazine on 17th July gave it as ‘Died On Active Service’. He was buried at St. David’s Vroncysyllte on 17th May 1941.
